ABOUT THE CONGRESS
Dear colleagues,
It is a pleasure to announce the V International Workshop on Cardiomyopathies
(HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY 2025) which will be held in Palexco, A Coruña, on 18th and 19th, September 2025.
On September 2025 we will resume, with the greatest enthusiasm, the organization of this scientific meeting, focusing on HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY.
These last years we have seen extraordinary advances in the diagnosis and treatment of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. We aim to highlight how genetic understanding of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (and its geno-phenocopies: AMYLOIDOSIS and FABRY DISEASE) has led to new therapeutics including gene therapy and novel pharmacological agents. Moreover, these new treatments have changed the therapeutic scenario and could relegate other invasive treatments, used until now, to a secondary role.
The format of the meeting will be based on short expert reviews combined with clinical cases that will open interesting discussions with the most prominent international leaders in these pathologies. We will have experts “from both sides of the Atlantic”: Argentina, Romania, Italy, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, USA, etc.
This time we will also have the possibility of sending abstracts (for poster presentation) with prizes for the winners.
And of course we will request European accreditation from European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®)
We look forward to seeing you in A Coruña!
